Balance Counselling is committed to supporting you throughout your difficult experiences.  Working with your counselor, you will create an individualized treatment plan, that assists you in moving towards becoming the best version of yourself.  

Many clients access services for assistance in managing anxiety and depression symptoms, want to know about healthy, evidence-based coping strategies, or understand why their body’s are responding to stress in the way that it does.  Others are looking to understand and change unhealthy coping strategies and looking to build positive responses.  Some clients have experienced traumas, and want to work at processing and moving towards not being triggered negatively by those experiences.  No matter what your personal situation, Balance Counselling is here to help you.  We may have ideas, suggestions or resources to share with you, and can offer alternative perspectives that may be helpful in working through your thoughts.  We can provide activities and exercises, that will increase your awareness and skills on managing the scenario.

IN OFFICE COUNSELLING SUPPORT

In office, one-on-one counselling services are offered in Edmonton, Alberta. Appointments are available by contacting Balance Counselling at 780-540-1425 or sarah@balance-counselling.net.  The first step is to complete the intake forms, which can be sent to you via email, or done in office at the first session.

Evening appointments are available.

 

ONLINE COUNSELLING SUPPORT

As our lives become more intertwined with the world of technology, the option of online counselling has evolved.  Online counselling is offered, as an easy, confidential and convenient treatment option.  Sessions are very similar to what you would experience in the office setting, the only difference, is that it is online via secured video platform.  The therapeutic approach, ethics, and responses, are as they would be in an office setting, but allow you the choice to attend from your own home.
